The Feelings Guy™
AUTHENTIC - PASSIONATE - DYNAMIC
Reframing the narrative surrounding mental illness and addiction
by focusing on feelings & facilitating vulnerable conversations.
Depression is real. It’s not a hurt that you can simply make “go away,” and you can’t just “walk it off.” If you’ve ever suffered from it, or had a friend or family member who has, you know it can ravage a soul and leave a shell of a person.
This program allows participants to assess their own mental health and identify ways they can improve their daily self-care plan. Attendees learn to identify signs their friend, family member or classmate may be struggling. They will discover action steps to encourage help-seeking behaviors while avoiding the less-than-helpful things often said to those struggling with depression.
IT'S OKAY NOT TO BE OKAY
In almost every college coming-of-age movie, beer pong, parties, and hangovers are common. For many, the big screen reflects our lived reality. A majority of students use alcohol and perhaps experiment with other drugs. It’s normal, right? While most will not find themselves in a hospital ICU with a drug overdose, most students know someone who battles alcoholism or addiction. These battles are often fought alone with many friends having difficulty confronting the dark nature of the disease.
In this powerful program, Archie uses his own personal journey to show how easily partying turns problematic. Students learn how to spot warning signs in their peers. They equip themselves to have vulnerable conversations with those struggling with recovery.
BENZOS, BLOW, & BOURBON: AN HONEST CONVERSATION
Leadership has never been easy but your student leaders or team managers now have unique challenges not covered in officer transition binders or typical HR on-boarding presentations. Being able to sift through the noise and lead with purpose is more important than ever.
In this interactive and engaging presentation attendees receive a framework that allows them to refocus on their most critical leadership priorities. Participants also connect with those in similar leadership positions and brainstorm how they can lead with intentionality and purpose.

John Gressette, President, Clemson University IFC
After one month of quarantine, I knew my employees needed support tending to their mental health. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found Archie! He built a strong connection via Zoom using his authenticity, humor, and personal journey and he kept everyone engaged so they put the self-care strategies into practice. Archie was the most valuable resource I could have given to my team, myself included!
Scott Swedberg, CEO & Founder, The Job Sauce
From the minute we got on the phone with Archie, he instantly began making genuine connections with our team. Through every interaction - email, text, phone call, or face-to-face meeting - it was clear Archie was committed to helping our students be successful, no matter how much work it took. His ability to build meaningful relationships, challenge our students, and thoroughly follow-up helped our student leaders make a complete 180 in a matter of weeks.
